Room service not available in the morning hours.
The balcony, and the pool/spa.
Location is beautiful. Hotel is very well maintained and very comfortable. Restaurant is very good and reasonably priced.
Really no complaints other than the pillows were too hard. Need some softer ones.
It was inside the state park which is beautiful. The Inn appeared to be newly redecorated and was lovely. The Inn grounds were well landscaped. The staff was very friendly. The maintenance man came immediately when we reported that our toilet was loose and fixed it.
The dining room was closed mid-week so you had to eat in the bar area. They promoted a "happy hour" that included an optional appetizer menu, but once you got there they said the appetizers were only available Friday and Saturday. The problem was they did not even have pretzels or peanuts to have with the drinks. They were also understaffed at dinner and breakfast in the eating area. I think it is a ok value at $100/night but not at the advertised $189/night.
Liked the view, however the reservation was screwed up, and they did not have rooms reserved for us?
Needs remodeling to bathroom, walls and carpet.
Location was wonderful, I liked that it was near the bird santuary and the ocean.
The hotel was not very user friendly. There was no where the the bathroom to put pills or a makeup bag or hair supplys with just a pedestal sink they need to put a shelf in the bathroom. The ice bucket and coffee pot were on top of the armoir which held the tv and it was 8 feet high It is good we were tall so we could reach it. And the was only one chair in the room. Our room number was 108.
Liked the resort like atmosphere...I Am one of the artists that exhibit at the Art in the Park show and have booked this hotel for Memorial show, July 4 show, which just occured, and will be at the hotel for the show on Labor Day weekend....will be booking it for 2012 also... The rooms are cool and parking is plentiful..resort like
They had really friendly staff and on check-out we were ovr charged and went back with our print out from bookings.com saying the price we were supposed to be charged and they fixed it up straight away without any troubles at all. We had a really nice view of Morro Rock and we got there a couple of hours before sunset so we sat in the jacuzzi while the sun was setting and took photos of the rock. The food was really nice from their restaurant and well priced. It was a very nice place to saty. The shower and tv might need a bit of an update but the rest of the room was perfect.
The hotel needed to be upgraded the furniture was very tired but it was a great value and close to everything.
The Inn is by the marina and is in a perfect spot for walks and nature observation. The Inn has a great restaurant with a spectacular view, Nick our waiter did a great job of bringing the coffee and being very friendly. I would recomend staying on the second floor. The staff are very friendly and accomodating.
The room is a bit dated and they are working on upgrades to the rooms. The refridgerator in the room was noisy and you could hear the upstairs people very easily.
I loved the birds! They were nesting while my daughter and I were there! We stayed in one of the rooms right on the water! It was beautiful.
Well, our heater in the room was broken, but they brought a space heater that worked great! It actually got a little too warm sometimes.
We were very pleased with the location, and loved watching the nesting birds in view as we dined. Breakfasts were very good and had many items to choose from. We will deffintly stay there again.
Nice location. Set nearby town, close enough for a walk, but removed from the hustle of crowds to feel like you are on a retreat. Beautiful views from balcony, both stars at night and the sunny views in the daytime
hot tub did not heat up past 97 degrees.
No air conditioning or climate control in the rooms. Ocean front but not a great view from a 1st floor room. Hot tub not private at all.
What delightful rooms and great staff, affordable too. Birders have to love this place.
I had to drive away after only one noc.
